Legal Hotline - 1-800-873-9155
The designated REALTOR® for each office
determines who is authorized to call the hotline. In some offices, the
designated REALTOR® may choose to designate only certain individuals (managers,
for example) to have access to the hotline so that those individuals will be
aware of any problem or legal question that an associate in the office may have
or be facing. In other offices, the designated REALTOR® may wish to allow all
the associates in the office to have access.
The designated REALTOR® is the REALTOR® who
has been named as the person responsible for all contact with the association of
REALTORS® and is named as the designated REALTOR® in the association's records

Disability insurance, vision, and prescription card - 1-888-479-2112
In October 1999, TAR introduced a new benefit for its members: income
protection insurance. This group disability plan features low rates, simplified
group underwriting, and does not require a physical. TAR members can choose
either a 12-month or 24-month benefit period with monthly benefit amounts of
$600, $1,000, $1,400, or $2,000. Those who qualify may be eligible for benefits
in excess of these amounts and time periods. In August 2000, Association
Benefits Group added low-cost vision and prescription card benefits for TAR
members.
There is a new web site describing the medical and dental benefits available to
Realtor® members; it's at
http://www.associationbenefits.biz/.
